A variety of programs designed for professionals working in dementia care are offered on a regular basis, throughout Indiana.

Program offerings include:

  • Annual Statewide Symposium
  • Professional Networking Events
  • Specialized Programs for Long-Term Care Professionals
  • Staff In-Services
  • Two Day Train-the-Trainer Programs

 

End-of-Life Seminar
Join us on Tuesday October 28, 2008 when nationally recognized speaker, Doug Smith M.Div., M.A., M.S., author of several books on caregiving, grieving, and healing presents Caring and Healing through the End of Life Journey. Topics that will be addressed during the seminar include ethics, styles of grieving, and styles of healing. Registration and a light breakfast begin at 8 a.m., and the seminar takes place from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. with lunch provided. There is no cost for this family/professional event. This seminar is sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association, Heartland Hospice, and Aging and In-Home Services.
