Advocacy -- Actively support the cause, ideas and policies of the Association by maintaining a watchful eye on state and national legislation.  
Bulk Mailing -- Work with a team to fold, staple, affix address labels, etc. on items being prepared for mailing.  
Clerical -- Work in the association office typing, filing, etc.  
Education -- Help prepare material that will be used to inform the public about the disease and the association. Help prepare material to be used by the caregivers and families so they can understand and cope with the disease.  
Fund Raising -- Help develop methods to expand the base of donors within the community.  
Health Fairs -- Assist in the planning and execution of functions to educate the community about Alzheimer's disease.  
Helpline -- Display a willingness to work with caregivers on a one-to-one basis and provide them with verbal support and information. Participation requires regular training sessions.  
Newsletter -- Contribute to the writing and development of the bimonthly newsletter.  
Patient & Family Services -- Help identify needed services and develop programs that strive to fulfill those needs.  
Public Relations -- Help develop the printed, audio, and visual materials used by the chapter to increase public awareness.  
Special Events -- Help to develop, organize, and execute events that surpass the usual programming.

Speakers Bureau -- Present programs to groups who are interested in learning more about the disease. Participation in this area requires a willingness to meet in regular training sessions.  
Support Group Facilitator -- Lead monthly caregiver support groups. Training will be provided.
